1 Month Loan

I have had the same loan with them for a number of months and only now have they suggested I pay back some principal with interest to reduce the loan over the next few months. Even paying £30 extra a month will reduce the balance to zero in a few months.
They have never bothered me as I have paid the agreed amount on time.

I was accepted and got the money in my bank account the same day.. I've had no problems with them, i would actually recommend them, as they were fast, efficient, and friendly. No hassles at all!

i applied with this company and i really thought i was getting a loan. i sent them the required documents and never heard a reply. so i phoned them and was put on hold for ages and gave up. i tried all the other options and was still kept on hold. i googled contact 1monthloan to see if i could get in touch with another number and i found this site. reading other peoples comments i have realised that they are probably a scam. it is shocking as i gave them my bank details and now i think i will have to change my account because i do not want money took off me if i have not received a loan!!!!!!!

I have an account with these guys which was fine until now. They are advertising being able to get hold of money for Christmas & their site is all Christmassy yet I call up to give them my new debit card details & am told that they will do it after Christmas as they are not lending now until Jan 4th, so any attempts between now & then will be declined. Not very impressed with that at all. What a silly way of working.

So that's what all the staff are doing at 1month loans !!!! Wondered why the phone is never picked up or emails responded to!
Far too busy spending time on forums trying to expose which bad review out of the HUNDREDS is a fake!!!
Oh my god! Says it all now. Are you proud to work for this so called business who don't even teach the staff the basics in simple communication skills?
I'd definitely go and work for your competitor! Has to be better.

They are an absolute waste of time. They ask you to send in documents so you spend ages faxing it or scanning it then you wait for hours to hear back. You then call them as you are sick of waiting then to be told they have strict rules and cannot help you. I spent money on calls, bus fares to fax documents and pay staples to fax it. I spent hours waiting to be turned down but I got accepted by wagedayadvance without fuss. This company waste your time and they ain't worth the bother.

BEEN TRYING TO GET MY APPROVED LOAN FOR 4 DAYS, SENT 5 E-MAILS BUT THEY NEVER REPLY. NOW GOT TO CANCEL MY DEBIT CARD ON MY BANK ACCOUNT AS I DON'T TRUST THEM.

They give the impression that you are going to receive a loan pretty shortly and then they keep asking you for bank card photo copies,copies of my salary detail etc etc. Then once you do send these documents they e mail you back stating they haven't received them. I've tried phoning and they put you on hold for at least 20 minutes.

I have just applied with these - hope I haven't wasted my time......They asked for me to email over copies of my bank card...........

I see 1 month loan have decided to stop commenting on our comments.

Been on hold for over 20mins! which I'll need another loan to repay! they've asked me to send copies of my card...... sent and surprise surprise NO REPLY.

My bank have no idea what they are talking about -

I think they make their money off us mugs staying on hold for hours on end

This company are a joke....hold for an advisor...not received email? I have emailed docs 4 times now and also faxed them. Not worth the hassle

I applied for a loan with these too. Was approved and i had to sign the agreement. Only problem is I've changed bank details and it wont let me change them and I've been on hold for over 20 minutes. Ridiculous. Starting to wonder if there's anyone working there or if they are still a company!

applied for a payday loan- sent of all required documents and loan was approved- still NO MONEY sent to my bank- and they cant be bothered to contact me- - think this company just likes to play games with people!

I have the same issues as others. Sent all paperwork off a month ago, told cannot read copy of bank card, sent further copy via e-mail still nothing!!!

On the same day I got an email at 8:44 saying "I am sorry to
advise you that the debit card details supplied in
your application has failed our automated verification

So I phone my bank to find out what the problem was they
Said there was not they could see to be wrong.
So I the took pictures of my bank card and sent them to
1 Month loan email address about 9am after that I was thinking I'll get
A phone call or an email or a text message or something
But nothing at 1pm so I phone the contact telephone number
For about 30min then did all the other options you can thing of and
No one picked up so I was on the phone for more the 3hrs in total
Till now I've emailed, phoned, faxed ect and I'm still waiting
If I found this site right her I would of never Applied

tooooooooo long on hold to speak to a rep. On hold now for over 10mins. WHAT A JOKE!!

after i sent them copy of front and back of card, (7th April) i received my loan agreement and email (after much chasing) on the 14th April (so much for being quick eh?) i was told that once i sent my card pictures i could have my money by 5pm that day or next working day at least... so anyway... it reaches 14th and i finally get my credit agreement. it is now the 19th and the money is still not in my account but apparently i have a repayment date of the 21st (my payday) so according to them i have to pay them in two days for a loan they did not even pay out? so after several emails they still have not responded. i told them today if i do not get a response and a payout/cancellation then i will not pay them a penny and will be taking the case to the FSA and the Financial ombudsman... guess what... they haven't replied. Don't even bother with them!

Although I have been dealing with this company for a while, I have had major difficulties in paying it back through personal circumstances. They have accepted a payment plan but the interest charges are huge and it will take me most of the year (if not next) to pay it back.

I am aware of the charges involved when taking out the loan but as the only worker in the family so only 1 wage coming in, its a bit steep. I did ask that they freeze it at the time, needless to say, they didn't and it was "too late".

That will teach me in future! Let it be a warning to you all!

This company is not reliable, i had a loan from them a few months ago, and everything went fine. I applied for a new loan recently and asked to change my bank details. they did this but started to carry out checks and asked me to send all sorts of documents just because i changed my bank details. they are un helpful and un relaible! DO NOT USE THEM!!!

They also asked me to send copies of front and back of my debit card, sent and they claimed to have not recieved this 4 times. They then said send bank statment of last 3 month and 2 utility bills and copy of passport which i didnt have so they wanted more documents. scanned them onto laptop and sent over and 10 days later got messages saying not recieved then when recieved they declined. whole proccess took about 20 days of me emailing them and forwarding on emails i had sent in the past so they knew i had sent them, worst company i have ever dealt with. Quick and effective service they say .... slow and ignorant is what i say!

never get back in touch with you. I have sent the same documents several times along with emails chasing up the application but no-one ever bothers getting back in touch. They constantly send text messages asking for debit card details even though had been sent. i have sent one final email asking for a response by 3pm today and if I do not get one then I will cancel loan application. This is a joke.

Compared to other lenders I found them marginally better. Applied and was approved (this happens to me very occasionally). They called, seemed courteous, asked me for some verification and I had the loan.

STAY AWAY - THEY TAKE OVER 2 WEEKS TO GET IN TOUCH - TELL YOU'VE BEEN ACCEPTED AND THEN REJECT YOUR APPLICATION AT THE FINAL STAGE - ABSOLUTE JOKE - THEY PUT ME IN ALL KINDS OF TROUBLE AS I THOUGHT MY LOAN WAS ASSURED

Chris I have just checked our database and I believe that the truth is not as you describe. Please make contact with us so we can discuss your account. Please also be fair and don't leave comments that just are not true. We work hard to be fair and treat our customers with the respect they deserve; we are not like some of the other lenders. We have a complaints procedure and if you are unhappy please contact us.

My loan, was paid off, in March 2009, in full. They are still taking money from my bank account, for what they claim was new loan. I have never had a reloan from this company. So why are they still trying to take my money?

Having had the misfortune to come into contact with this company I would strongly advise others exercise caution if they have no other option but to deal with this company. Having sent the loan request they asked me for a copy of my card which was duly faxed. They claimed this was unreadable and so I emailed it. Following their repeated claims that they hadn't received this they finally got round to checking it 5 days after making the original application. I've been misinformed by their staff on countless occaisions re they state of their emails and workload. Staff don't contact you when they claim they will and it's all just a very bad display of service with a "do you want it or not", arrogant and complacement attitude.
