    Lenders need to corroborate your identity information from outside sources. Electoral rolls are among the main sources for verifying identity. If your name is not on the electoral roll, contact your Local Authority and ask them to add it as lenders use this information to confirm your address. The Local Authority will then notify all credit reference agencies (Equifax, CallCredit and Experian) and records will be amended within 28 days of receipt.
